Hi! I’m a freelance writer with an interest in music, alternative culture, and media.

My writing has been featured both in print and online, and I’m currently an active contributor for Exclaim!, New Noise, Hysteria, Killyourstereo and FilmBunker. I quip about film over on Letterboxd and blog through Medium with semi-regularity. I also have a weekly music newsletter available through Substack.

I have a BA (Hons Class I) with majors in English Literature and Philosophy, and my academic work has been featured in Jacaranda and Exordium.

As an avid devourer of coffee, literature, film noir and science fiction, I fervently believe that modern society will be harshly judged by the time-travelling generations to come, in a way that is directly proportional to our passivity to memes and beguiled treatment of the Kardashians. I enjoy carving out a meaningless existence in the abyssal void, venturing beyond the bounds of the Southern Hemisphere, and listening to music that’s at times poignant, abrasive and restless—except when hungover.
